∼Funeral Services for Sue Azbill Pyles, age 84, will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday December 13, 2010 at First Baptist Church Bemis with Rev. Mark McSwain and Rev. John Norvell officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Pyles passed away on Friday December 10, 2010 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital following a brief illness.
She was born in Madison County on March 23, 1926 the daughter of the late Charlie and Ruthie Marsh Froman. She was a life long resident of South Jackson, a homemaker, an active member of First Baptist Church Bemis where she sang in the choir and where she had taught preschool classes for some 50 plus years. She was a former member of the Eastern Star number 85 and a retired 35 year Hostess at George A. Smith and Sons Funeral Home.
She is survived by her husband, Wilford "Bill" Pyles whom she married on September 15, 1991; one daughter, Bobbie Robinson Foust and husband LC of Bethel Springs, TN; two sons, Tommy Azbill and wife Brenda of Humboldt, TN, and Kevin Azbill and wife Cathy of Jackson, TN; one step-daughter, Amlia McCarver; three step-sons, Mike Pyles, Richard Pyles, and Steve Pyles; nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Other than her parents and siblings she was preceded in death by her husband O.C. Azbill on December 3, 1984.
