Larry Whaley Harden was an active outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish, and spend time with his family and friends. He was a member of Sopchoppy United Methodist Church. He served in the United States Army in Germany and loved his Country. He was a retired Machinist from the City of Tallahassee and a Gunsmith. He was always up to a challenge working with metal and machinery. He loved using his hands to work and fix anything that was brought to him. Above all, he was extremely faithful to his family, friends, and church. He was deeply loved and will be sorely missed by all that knew him.

He leaves behind, his wife of 45 years, Teresa Curles Harden and two children Charles (Anne) Harden and Cheryl (Todd) Andrews, five grandchildren Valerie, Chance, Sarah, Natalie, and Audrey, two brothers Warren C. Harden and Gerald (Becky) Harden, two sisters Louise McCauley and Jean (David) Dunlap.

He is preceded in death by his parents, W. C. "Heddy" and Cornelia Whaley Harden, a brother Ronnie (Connie White) Harden, a sister, Sherri Harden, and brother in law Robert McCauley.
