COBER, Lester Wilbert It is with great sadness that Wilbert and Annie (Sallans) Cober announce the passing of their oldest son, Lester of New Hamburg. Lester was born December 4, 1957 and died October 31, 2012 at Grand River Hospital K-W Health Centre, Kitchener. He is remembered by his loving sisters, Pauline, and Susan (Wayne) Lofthouse, his brothers, Lyndon (Kerrie) and Roland (Donna), his brother-in-law Harold Albrecht. Lester is predeceased by his loving sister Betty (2011). He had 11 nieces and nephews and 12 great-nieces and nephews. He was an avid gardener, a lover of books, a trivia buff with a great sense of humour. He enjoyed walking and the great outdoors. He worked at Tenderfresh for many years and then moved to Victoria, B.C. where he became a personal support worker. Family and friends may call on Saturday, November 3, 2012 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Rosebank Brethren In Christ Church, 1434 Huron Road, R.R.#2 Petersburg (Wilmot Township). The funeral service will be held at the church on Sunday, November 4, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow in the Rosebank Cemetery.
