Earl David Storm, of Hanover, entered into God's eternal care, October 31, 2012, with his loving family by his side.

Born October 11, 1934 in Hanover, Earl was the son of the late Ralph Henry and Cora May (Shank) Storm. Earl was the loving husband of Jean E. (Bankert) Storm to whom he was married for 53 years.

Earl retired from Columbia Gas, where he worked as a welder for 37 years.

He served as a member of the Pennsylvania National Guard and was a lifetime member of the McSherrystown Home Association.

In addition to his loving wife, Jean, Earl is survived by three daughters, Kathy J. Kuykendall of Hanover, Tammy S. Topper of Spring Grove, and Linda A. Weaver of Hanover; two sons, Philip E. Storm of New Oxford, and Stephen A. Bankert of Fredericksburg, IN; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, David L. Storm; daughters-in-law, Dang Storm and Donna K. Bankert; three brothers, Robert, Lawrence, and R. Thomas Storm; and three sisters, Dorothy Smith, Marie Rohrbaugh and Jean Eckert.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., November 5, 2012 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., Hanover, with the Rev. Brenda Marin officiating. Burial will be in Marburg Memorial Gardens, Hanover. A viewing and time to share memories with the family will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, at the funeral home.
