Louis E. Pulaski, 86 Longtime Lansdowne Resident, Louis E. Pulaski, age 86, passed away on October 28, 2012.
Lou was well known as a beautician in the Upper Darby / 69th St. area. He worked there for over 50 years, working his way to manager at Roland and Joseph's and then running his own shop, Lou's Beauty Salon for many years. Mr. Pulaski was a veteran of the U.S.
Navy. He was captain of the ushers at St. Charles Borromeo and was very active in that church. He was a proud and loving grandfather and will be missed by all. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth Pulaski (nee McCabe). Survivors: Loving father of Dennis (Barbara Harris) of Lansdowne, PA. Cherished grandfather of 4, great-grandfather of 9, and great-great grandfather of 1. Dear brother of Sr. Mary Imelda, OSF of Lodi, NJ, Elizabeth Brown of Silver Springs, MD, Joseph of Tustin, CA, and longtime friend and caretaker, Bob DeLauney.
Life Celebration: Relatives and friends are invited to attend on Monday, Nov. 5 from 9:30 to 10:30 AM in St. Charles Borromeo Church, 3422 Dennison Ave., Drexel Hill, PA 19026. Mass of Christian Burial to follow in St. Charles Borromeo Church at 10:30 AM Interment St. Charles Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a donation in Lou's name may be made to either St. Francis Country House, 4 Center,1412 Lansdowne Avenue Darby, PA 19023 or VITAS Charitable Funds,1787 Sentry Parkway West, Blue Bell, PA 19422.
