PRIMITIVO R. CAVAZOS SR. - VICTORIA -
Primitivo R. Cavzos Sr., 91, of Victoria, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2010. He was born July 10, 1918, in Nursery, to the late Rafael Cavazos and Francisca Rodriguez Cavazos. He was retired from Alcoa and he was a Presbyterian.
He is survived by his daughters, Alicia Rendon and Gracie Cavazos, both of Victoria; brother, Peter Cavazos; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Aurora Garcia Cavazos; daughter, Emma Cavazos; son, Primitivo R. Cavazos Jr.; sisters, Felicita Uresti, Anita Hernandez, and Angelita Cavazos; and brothers, Alcadio Cavazos and Martin Cavazos.
Visitation will begin at noon today, Feb. 19, 2010, with a prayer service at 7 p.m., at Artero Memorial Chapels in Victoria.
The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, 2010 at Nicea Presbyterian Church. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jason Rendon, Mark Rendon, Michael Cavazos, Michael Salazar, Jesse Escojido, and Frank Rodriguez.
