SPRING GROVE - Irene M. (Becker) Brenneman, 55, of Spring Grove RD 2, died at 1:44 a.m. Sunday at York Hospital. She was the wife of Ray A. Brenneman. The couple observed their 34th wedding anniversary Oct. 18.
The service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Jacob's (Stone) Church in Glenville. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Viewings will be 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Geiple Funeral Home Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock, and 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
Mrs. Brenneman was born Oct. 14, 1943, in York. She was the daughter of the late LeRoy J. and Miriam I. (Landis) Becker.
She was a part-time clerk at Weis Markets Inc., Roosevelt Avenue, York. Prior to that, she was a clerk at Hills Department Store and Dunkin Donuts in York, and a seamstress at Danskin Inc. in York. She was a member of the Lutheran Congregation of St. Jacob's (Stone) Church, Jefferson Fire Company Ladies' Auxiliary and National American As sociation of Retired Persons.
Mrs. Brenneman also is survived by a son, Andrew R. Brenneman of Seven Valleys RD 1; three daughters, Jeanette M. Berwager and Christine A. Brenneman, both of Spring Grove RD 2, and Cindy I. Beck of Glen Rock; six grandchildren; and a sister, Marlene A. Grothey of Seven Valleys RD 1.
Officiating at the service will be her pastor, the Rev. Richard C. Weaver.
