Obituary for Janet Ott

Janet Irene Jenkins Ott, 62, of Harrisonburg, VA, and formerly of Inwood, died Tuesday, October 30, 2012, at Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg.

Born February 14, 1950 in Winchester, VA, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Lane Ludwig and Frances Virginia (Teets) Ludwig.

She was retired from the Internal Revenue Service and attended the Sangerville Church of the Brethren. Janet lived life to the fullest and loved traveling, shopping, good food, and never met a stranger.

She is survived by one brother, Todd Jenkins and fiancée, Debra Craddock, of Baker, WV; niece, Jennifer Jenkins, of Hedgesville; great-niece, Kaelyn Corun; great-nephew, Cody Jenkins; Goddaughter, Lindsey Rutherford; Janet's fiancé, Donnie Combs, of Harrisonburg, and his children, Angelia and Danny Lambert and their children, Heather, Hunter and Haley; Christopher and Chasity Combs and children, Chase and Caden; and Matthew and Mary Beth Combs.

Janet will be missed by her family, extended family and many loving and caring friends

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a nephew, Jeremy Todd Jenkins.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 6, 2012, at Brown Funeral Home's South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood with the Rev. Kevin Daggett officiating. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., at New Dale Cemetery in Baker, WV.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, November 5th, at the South Berkeley Chapel
