Mona May McCully was sentenced to life in prison after killing her son-in-law, Leon Storse Richardson, on 6 November 1920. She was transferred from the Montana State Penitentiary to the Warm Springs Montana State Hospital on 15 Oct 1930. She died at the state hospital on 9 Jul 1938 and was buried in unmarked grave no. 829.
