Christine Cobb, 85, Henderson, died at 10:40 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2009, at Redbanks nursing home.

She was a member of Zion Baptist Church. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Cobb, who died in 2002.

Survivors include two sons, the Rev. Gary Cobb of Henderson and Ricky Cobb of Chesapeake, Ohio; two sisters, Edna Smithart of Evansville and Marie Lacer of Frankfort; four brothers, Ray Lacer, Stanley Lacer, Sherrill Lacer and Alfred Lacer, all of Henderson; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home. The Rev. Mark Galloway will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today and after noon Saturday at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Zion Baptist Church Servant Evangelism Ministry.
