Mrs. Ora Merinda Thompson, 80, of Clever, died at 11:40 p.m. last Wednesday at St. John's Hospital after a lingering illness. Survivors are her husband, Joseph of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Lennie Davis, Clever, Mrs. Opal Bryan, Springfield, and Mrs. Voutress Chapman, Arlington, Tex.; five sons, Leonard, Mt. Vernon, Glenn, Billings, Ray, Ash Grove, Noel, Republic and Harold; five sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Estes, Clever, Mrs. Dorothy Little, Billings, Mrs. Bessie Gardner, Springfield; Mrs, Louella Pearce, Orange, Calif., and Mrs. Nanny Butler, Rout 8; one brothers, Zelma Thompson, Clever; 15 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Funeral services were in the Cantrell Chapel at Clever. The Rev. D. S. Frazier officiated and burial was in Wise Hill Cemetery.
