LUNDY, Cpl. Dustin 23, of Northridge, passed away unexpectedly Sunday October 30, 2011 in Jacksonville, North Carolina, as a result of a motorcycle accident. Dustin was born in Dayton on December 3, 1987. He was a 2006 graduate of Northridge High School and joined the U.S. Marine Corps. in 2008. Preceded in death by his birth mother, Karen Roberts; grandmother, Martha Lundy; grandfather, Edward Roberts. Survived by his wife, Kendra & her son, Carter; parents, Kathy & Danny Jones; great grandmother, Faye Young; 3 sisters, Shannon McCullough, Monica Edwards & Jenay Jones; 4 brothers, Jason Jones, Jeremy Baker, Jason Baker & Eric Bland; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews & many friends. Funeral service 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, 2011, at the GEORGE C. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, "Northridge Chapel," 5040 Frederick Pike at Needmore Road. Interment Dayton National Cemetery with full military honors. The family will receive friends 4-8 p.m. Friday at the George C. Martin Funeral Home.
