Josephine Marie Putz Sackett,84, died Thursday afternoon, March 24, 1994, in the Good Samaritan Home, Postville, after a lingering illness. Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Anamosa. Burial: Oakwood Cemetery, Monticello. Friends may call from 6 to 9 tonight at Goettsch Funeral Home, Anamosa, where a Scripture service begins at 7 p.m.
Survivors include her husband, Ellis; two daughters, Marian Imbus of Luana and Marguriete Maccani of Cedar Rapids; two sisters, Thresia Putz of Cascade and Frances Deppe of Bellevue; and two brothers, Tony Putz of Earlville and Joe Putz of Baldwin.
Also surviving are seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
