Ethel M. Dionne, 78, of Marinette, passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2013, at Rennes East. She was born on May 17, 1934, to the late Arnold and Hazel [Deschaine] Hansen in Menominee. On December 7, 1953, Ethel married Marven I. Dionne in Marinette. He preceded her in death in February of 1988. She was a member of Holy Family Parish. Ethel is survived by a daughter, Terrie Cornish and three grandchildren: Jason, Josh, and Tracy; a son-in-law, Bill Schmitz, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Marven, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Cheryl Schmitz; two grandchildren: Shannon and Billie Jo; a brother, Everett Hansen; and sister, Elaine Ahlberg. Friends may call at the Thielen Funeral Home on Saturday, March 23rd from 2 to 4 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at 4 p.m. with Deacon Jerome Thetreau officiating. Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery. Memorial fund has been established.
