Gladys Marcella Evrley, 73, of Taylorville died at 4:06 p.m., Tuesday, October, 26, 1993 in St. Vincent Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Evrley was born December 28, 1919 in Taylorville, the daughter of James H. and Susan Jane Campbell Walker. She married John Evrley June 1, 1938 in Taylorville and he preceded her in death November 22, 1990. Mrs. Evrley was a homemaker and was a member of the Ohlman United Methodist Church.

Surviving are one son, Keith Evrley and one daughter, Ruth Ann Sinnard, both of Taylorville; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; one brother, Russell Walker and one sister, Mrs. Harry (Stella) Landers, both of Taylorville. She was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Sutton Memorial Home. Burial will be in Glenhaven Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m., Thursday.
