Margaret S. Riley, age 96, passed away peacefully at home Wednesday, August 29, 2012.
She was born born April 29, 1916, in Maysville, Ky., to the late George and Ethel Purden Shumate.
She was a farmer and a housewife, a member of Eastern Star Alum City Chapter 222., and a member of the Fly Branch Church Of Christ.
Preceded her in death beside her parents, was her husband, Thomas B. Riley, three sisters, and four brothers, and a granddaughter, Darcey.
Surviving are two daughters, Elizabeth Marie Trapp of Phoenix, AZ., Janet Itannian of Stark, Fl., one son, Brooks (Tammy) Riley Jr., of Vanceburg, Ky., and four
grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 5, 2012, at Black Oak Cemetery Black Oak, Ky.
There will be no visitation.
