AUGUSTA - Alan Earle Swasey, 62, passed away unexpectedly on Dec. 20, 2011. He was born in Augusta on Oct. 19, 1949, to Gladys Randall Swasey and Richard F. Swasey.
He was predeceased by his mother, Gladys Randall Swasey; and stepmother, Geraldine H. Swasey. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Karen, of Winthrop; his son, Keith Harmon, of Jupiter, Fla.; his sisters, Paula Hacopiannik, and her husband, Vahik, of Vista Calif., Karla Swasey, of Winthrop, and Debbie Buzzell and her husband, Craig, of Wayne; stepbrothers Dan Hodge and his fiancee, Gayle, of Rumford, and Allan Gurney, of Effingham, N.H.; and several cousins, nieces, nephews and great-nieces.
He will be sadly missed by his family, and may he rest in peace.
