Claude Henry Anderson
BOUNTIFUL – Claude henry Anderson, age 78, loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, died Monday January 22, 1996, in Bountiful, Utah. He was born March 27, 1917 in Kanesville, Utah, to Henry and Myrtle Della Hannah Anderson Graduated from Weber High School in1935, serving as Student Body President.
He married Lucille Nelson, September 11, 1941, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He served in the U. S. Armed Services during World War II. He served as Bishop of Idaho Falls 10th Ward and Bountiful 3rd Ward. He served as an ordinance worker in the Salt Lake Temple and as Patriarch in the Bountiful, Utah East Stake. He retired after 30 years as a State Farm Insurance agent. He is survived by his wife, Lucille, Bountiful; and two sons; Stephen C, (Connie) Anderson, Bountiful; Kenneth M. (Anne) Anderson, Los Alamitos, California; two daughters; Carol (Thomas B.) Tolman, Bountiful; and Marilyn (David C.) Thurgood, Lindon. One son Donald Reed preceded him in death. Also surviving are 25 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday, January 25, 1996. Interment – Bountiful City Cemetery under the direction of Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary.
