Florence, March 23 - Douglas Gardner, 18, who was brought to a Florence hospital Thursday of last week died early Wednesday morning as a result of his injuries. The accident occurred at a saw mill near Lake City.

Funeral services were held at the home in the Effingham section Thursday afternoon.

Mr. Gardner was the sun of Mr. and Mrs. W. V. Gardner, who survive him, with a sister, Mrs. Burt Hyman of Florence.
