Charles "Jack" Arnold, 92, of Baton Rouge, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2011, at his home. He was a native of Denham Springs and defended our country in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. Visitation at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, on Friday, Feb. 4, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visitation resumes at the funeral home chapel on Saturday, Feb. 5, from 8:30 a.m. until services at 10 a.m. Burial in Denham Springs Memorial Cemetery. He is survived by a daughter, Maelene Beauhall and husband Jim Beauhall; son, Robert Arnold and wife Gerry Arnold; grandchildren, Capt. Stefan Arnold, U.S. Marine Corps, and Michelle Arnold; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hiram and Mittie Arnold; an infant son, Charles Clark Arnold Jr.; brothers, Leon Melvin, Oliver Lawrence, Alton Shelby and Rudolph Wilford; and sisters, Hazel Mae and Juanita. The family would like to extend a special thank you to his sitters, Sharon and Mary, for all the care that they have shown. He was a 32nd-degree Shriner and a member of Florida Boulevard Baptist Church.
