Mrs. Elizabeth Myers Crayne, aged 60 years, died suddenly at her home in Jefferson, Sunday morning, January 16, 1938, at 1:30 o'clock. She had been in her usual good health when she retired late Saturday night.
The deceased was born April 23, 1877, in Garards Fort, a daughter of Alpheus and Isabella Rush Myers, deceased, and had lived in Jefferson for the past 48 years. She was the wife of Harold Crayne, Sr., and is survived by five sons: Allan Crayne, of Mather; Harold, Jr., Myers and Jack Crayne, all of Jefferson; Hughes, of the state of California. Another son, David, and a daughter, Mrs. Isabella Crayne Swecker, are deceased. Eight grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. D. E. Lantz, of Pueblo, Colo., also survive.
