Edith M. Adams, 91, of 1900 Ravine Road, Williamsport, passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at the Williamsport Home.
She was born Oct. 10, 1915 in Clinton Twp., the daughter of Hartford M. and Pearl M. Shoemaker Grugan.
Edith was a member of the First Church of Christ Disciples in Williamsport. She had retired from the former Dickey-Grugan Hardware, and had worked for the former Usmar Florist. She and her husband, George G. Adams, celebrated their 73rd wedding anniversary Aug. 7, 2006.
Surviving her besides her loving husband is a son, George Adams of Avis and a brother, Dr. R. A. Grugan of Bonita Springs, Fla.
Preceding her in death was a sister, Virginia and three brothers, Dr. Hartford E. Grugan, L. Albert Grugan, and Andrew K. Grugan.
A graveside memorial service will be held 9 a.m. Friday, July 13, in the Montoursville Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
