Lebo - Mrs. Bernice Doty, who lived five miles west of Lebo, died at her home Monday at 5:30 pm. Her husband, Shepard A. Doty, preceded her in death by a week. He died March 18th.
Mrs. Doty, whose maiden name was Lyon, was born July 7, 1872 at Aurora, Illinois, and had lived near Lebo since 1877. She was married to Mr. Doty on December 19th, 1893 and is survived by two children, Miss Mable Doty and Harry Doty of the home. She is also survived by a sister, Mrs. M.R. Doty of Delta, Colorado. Mrs. Doty was a member of the Lebo Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be at 2 pm Thursday at the Lebo Methodist Church with Rev. C. L. Harder in charge. Burial will be in Lincoln cemetery. The casket will be open at the Jones Funeral Home Wednesday afternoon and evening.
