Daughter of William Jessop and Sarah Fairbrother. Married John S Coy 3 Sep 1832 in Woodford Cum Membris, Northamptonshire, England. Children Sarah, Maria, Elizabeth, Thomas, Phoebe, Edwin, William, Charles, and John. Came to America about 1837. Lived in Livingston Co for a while, and then Lima Twp.

Note on spelling: her marriage record lists her as Anne Jessop, and that seems to be the most common spelling of her maiden name in England. The American records mostly say Jessup.
