Died Saturday, June 23, 1990, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 79, a native of Pitkin and a resident of Baton Rouge. Visiting at Hollabaugh-Spindle Wooddale Memorial Chapel, until religious services at 2 p.m. Monday, conducted by the Rev. John Brown. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by stepmother, Evie Howell, Lake Charles; two daughters, Mrs. Arthur (Marilyn Joyce) Hymel, Baker, and Mrs. Cade (Juanita) Pickering, Baker; a son, Emery C. "Butch" HendrickJr., Baton Rouge; three half-brothers, James, Ernest and Billy Howell; seven grandsons; and nine great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband, Emery C. Hendrick; twin sons, parents, a sister and two brothers. Pallbearers are Bobby, Mike, Roy and Doug Pickering, Arthur "Peanut" Hymel and Timmy Hymel. Honorary pallbearer is Tommy Hymel.
