OBITUARY
Edward C Aldous, 78, Nampa Route 2, died in a local nursing home Tuesday following an extended illness.
Mr Aldous was born may 18, 1887, at West Weber, Utah, and moved to Paul, Idaho, in 1913. He was married to Lillian Zemke on March 17, 1914, at Twin Falls.
The couple farmed in the Minidoka project at Twin Falls for seven years. In 1925 they moved to the Boise Valley, settling in Deer Flat Community south of Nampa. He retired and moved to Nampa in 1948. He was a member of Nampa Third Ward of the LDS Church and was a high priest of the Ward.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Mrs John (Doris) Roberts of Nampa and Mrs Stewart (Norma) Williams of Visalia, CA; one son, Glen Aldous of Nampa; two sisters, Mrs Hannah Bihler, Orland, CA, and Mrs Mabel Slater of Burley; eight grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11AM Friday at the Alsip Funeral Chapel. Bishop Arthur Norton of the Nampa Third Ward will officiate. Entombment will follow in the Building of Reverence at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
