Ms. Mildred Dodson Ashworth, age 78, a resident of Sparta passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
Ms. Ashworth was born July 14, 1933 in White County to the late Herbert Leon Dodson, Sr. and Sally Denton Dodson. She was a retired secretary for the City of Doyle. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by brother H.L. Dodson; sisters Ernestine Henry and Dorothy Dodson.
Survivors include her companion Carl Rittenberry of Sparta
Four daugthers: Suzette Roberts, Penny Allen, Gail & Daryl Leonard all of Sparta and Donna & Ken Roberson of St. Albans, W.V.
Eight grandchildren: Daniel Roberts, Kenny Roberson, Rachael Roberson, Andy & Courtney Allen, Nicole Allen, Michael & Candice Allen, Brandi Allen, Jennifer Wheeler
Five Great-Grandchildren: Reagan Verble, Tailor Cox, Connor Allen, Kylie Cox, and Chance Wheeler
