Evalene Morrison, 88, of New Ross, died Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2011, at her residence.
She was born July 25, 1923 in Lizton, and was the daughter of the late Estel and Gertha Bailey Ray.
She married Robert C. Morrison, and he preceded her in death.
Mrs. Morrison was a member of New Ross Christian Church and American Legion Auxiliary.
She sold Stanley home products for more than 40 years.
Surviving are two sons, Ron Morrison (wife: Wanda) and Cal Morrison (wife: Lynda); and two sisters, Charlene Alexander and Phyllis Rader.
Also surviving are grandchildren, Phyllis Morrison, Tammie Thacker, Carissa Bear, Kimberly Day and Robert Morrison; and 8 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by a son, Larry Morrison; and brother, Donald Ray.
Friends will be received Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2011, 12-2 p.m. at Porter Funeral Home, Jamestown, Indiana. Services will follow at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in New Ross Cemetery.
