JANTZI, Marjorie Peacefully at her home in New Hamburg, on Saturday, September 3, 2011 surrounded by her family, Marjorie who was born 68 years ago in Wilmot Township, a daughter of the late Allan and Magdalene (Erb) Gingerich. She was a member of Hillcrest Mennonite Church, New Hamburg where she was an active member of the WMSC and the food committee. Marjorie was an active participant in the apple fritter project for the Mennonite Relief Sale, a member of the Wilmot Horticultural Society, had been a leader of the 4-H Homemakers Club. Marjorie and Ken were members of the Guys and Dolls Square Dancing Club for 40 plus years. She enjoyed gardening and flowers as her hobbies. Beloved wife of Kenneth Jantzi whom she married February 10, 1962. Loving mother of Pat and Paul Luckhart of Baden, Sheila Jantzi of Serpent River, Bob and Sherri Jantzi of Tavistock, Peggy Sue Haskell of Guelph. Special Grandmother of Sam Luckhart and friend Ara, Chris Luckhart, Jon Medina and friend Sheena, Rosie Medina, James Nesbit, Phoebe Jantzi and friend Dean, Jarris Jantzi and friend Amanda, Lacey Jantzi, Cassidy Jantzi, Katie Haskell, Alissa Haskell. Dear sister of Reta and (Anson) predeceased Bender of Baden, Ralph and Louise Gingerich of RR#1 St. Agatha. Also remembered by mother-in-law MaryAnn Jantzi of Kitchener. Sisters-in-law and Brothers-in-law, Ruth and (Allan) predeceased Leis of Waterloo, Wesley Jantzi and friend Margo of Leamington, Louise and Ralph Gingerich of RR#1 St. Agatha. Bill and Lucille Jantzi of Petersburg, Sim Jantzi of Waterloo, Maryann and Ralph Steckley of Wellesley. Predeceased by a grandson Nicholas Jantzi in infancy and a sister-in-law Gail Jantzi. Friends and relatives may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home , 291 Huron St., New Hamburg today Tuesday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, September 7, 2011 burial will be held at the 19th Line Mennonite Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. at Hillcrest Mennonite Church, New Hamburg. Pastor Jan Steckley and Pastor Kevin Peters Unrau officiating. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mennonite Central Committee or the ALS Society.
