Caroline is my great-grandmother. She was born in Pike (now Crenshaw) County. She married William Thomas 'Tom' BULLOCK on 22 Dec 1887 in Milam County, Texas. They had seven children, including my grandfather, Samuel Joseph 'Joe'/'Jodie' BULLOCK (1897 TX - 1972 TX). Caroline died at home and was buried in Milano Cemetery on 8 Oct 1928.

Pioneer Woman of Milano Section Is Mourned by Many

Cameron, Tex., Oct 9. -- Mrs. Rebecca Bullock, age 67 years, died Sunday at the family residence in Milano. Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock by Rev. E. A. Potts, with interment in the Milano cemetery.

Mrs. Bullock was born in Alabama in 1861 and came to Texas in 1879, living in the vicinity of Milano since that time. Her husband, Tom Bullock, preceded her to the grave in 1902. The deceased is survived by four sons.

MRS REBECCA BULLOCK

Mrs. Rebecca Bullock, aged 68, died at her home in Milano and was buried there Monday afternoon. She had been a resident of Milano since 1874 [sic]. Mrs. Bullock is survived by four sons.

The death of Mrs. Bullock brings sadness to a host of people in this county. She was a pioneer and the Bullock family has been a factor in the upbuilding of Milam County for a number of years.

Caldwell, Tex., Oct 13 (Spec.), -- Funeral services were held for Mrs. Rebecca Bullock, aged 67, who died at the family residence, with the Rev. E. A. Potts of Caldwell officiating. Interment was made at Milano cemetery.

Mrs. Bullock was born in Alabama in 1861 and came to Texas in 1879, and lived near the county line for many years. She leaves four sons.
