During WWI, Uncle Key served as a Private in the U.S. Army, Co D, 9 Inf. He was stationed at Camp Travis, TX in Jun 1921.

According to an Account Statement from Phillips & Luckey Company, Inc., William K. Bullock was embalmed and buried in a wood burial box.
