Oolitic Woman Dies Suddenly At Home; Funeral To Be Sunday
Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Childers Taylor, age 73, died suddenly at 1:45 o'clock this morning at her home in Oolitic.
Mrs. Taylor has been ill just one hour before she died. She was born on March 28, -868, in Hart county, Ky., the daughter of Benjamin and Jane Phenix Childers. She was married to William Henry Taylor in Hart County, Ky., 53 years ago.
Surviving are the husband, four daughters, Mrs. Cleve Cottrell, of Oolitic; Mrs. John Bowman, of Hart County, Ky.; Mrs. Lobon Kern, of Avoca, and Mrs. Charles Kern, of Norman; three sons, Leslie Taylor of Huron; Wilburn Taylor, of Norman, and Elmer Taylor, of Springville; one brother, Charles Childers, of Kentucky, and 35 grandchildren.
She was a member of the Methodist church in Hart County, Ky.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Hickory Grove Cemetery, near Heltonville.
The body will be returned to the residence this evening from the Sherwood & Ferguson Funeral home.
