David first married Margaret Jane Kelly on April 14, 1861 in Wabash Co, IN. They had two children. Lewis Ellsworth Sickafus and Clara Sickafus. Margaret died June 4, 1864, 3 days after baby Clara was born.

Mary was previously married to Lewis E. Tryon (1839 Rush Co, IN - bef 1864) on Nov. 1859. Lewis & Mary had three children: B. Lafayette Tryon (8-14-1860 - 10-6-1860) twin of Marquis Tryon (8-14-1860-8-14-1860) & Martha (2-8-1861 - ?1871 aged 9Y 8M 16d.
Burial place of Lewis & Mary are unknown. Lewis might have died in the Civil War and she most likely is at an unmarked grave in Laketon Cemetery. Where her children are buried.

Mary's parents were William Henry Faurot and Jane Smith.
