Wilson, April 1917,(that marriage subsequently annulled). Married Lonnie Lee Pate, August 11, 1920. Daughter of Amanda Viola Ophelia Kingery and Morgan Miles Pennington. Buried at Upper Lotts Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Portal, GA. Joined fellowship at Upper Lotts Creek Primitive Baptist Church, February 26, 1938, and continuing membership in that church until her death in 1994. Lived in Bulloch Co., GA (in Portal in early adulthood and in Statesboro after her husband's death). Lucile was a homemaker and professional seamstress. She enjoyed fishing and spending time with family. Her children and grandchildren will remember her delicious chicken & dumplings, pound cakes, egg custard pies, and bread puddings.
