She was born in Atlantic Dec. 20, 1916, a daughter of the late Frank and Donna Free Davison. She married Ernest M. Pears in 1935 and he preceded her in death Aug. 2, 1980.
A homemaker, she was formerly employed at the Crawford County Care Center and was of the Wesleyan Methodist faith.
Survivors include a son, Howard E. Pears and his wife, Nancy, of Meadville; three sisters, Martha Bailey of Meadville, Mary Thomas of Greenville and Lillian Ekholm of Jefferson, Ohio; a brother, John Davison of Sheakleyville; four grandchildren, Col. Andy Pears and his wife, Mary, of Montgomery, Ala., Joe Pears and his wife, Mary, of Meadville, James Pears of Orlando, Fla., and Maryjane Amory and her husband, David, of Saegertown; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Donald Pears; two brothers, Frank and Harold Davison; and infant twin granddaughters.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
