Retired Whitehouse Realtor, Area Youth Leader Many Years
Mrs Betty H.Dennis, 69, formally of Providence street, Whitehouse, a realtor for many years and a community leader, died Monday in Holly Heights Nursing Care Cenetr, Denver,Colo.
She had lived in several nursing homes for the last eight years and was the widow of Jay Dennis, Who died last October.
For more than 30 years, she was asscoiated with her husband in the Jay Dennis and Associates Realtors and Insurance Agency, Whitehouse. she retired in 1977
Mrs. Dennis was a co-sponser of the Unity Church of Toledo youth organization, and was Lucas County 4-H and Rainbow Girls, Eastern Star leader.
Her memeberships included the Order of the Eastern Star, Waterville, and the Whitehouse American Legion Auxiliary.
Surviving are her sons, Clifford, daughter, Mrs Joyce Magnusson; brothers Jim, Richard and Bill Brown, and sister, Mrs, Virgina Barnes.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the Croll-Peinert Mortuary, Whitehouse.there wil be no visitations. The family requests that anty tributes be made in the form contributions to the Alzheimer Disease Association or to Unity Church of Toledo
