L. Pauline Bandy, 90, of Marshall, Ill., formerly of Terre Haute, Ind., passed away 9:50 a.m. Friday, March 25, 2011, in Union Hospital at Terre Haute, Ind.

She was retired from the Internal Revenue Service after 30 years of service.

She was born Nov. 10, 1920, at Dudley, Ill., the daughter of Fenton W. Hutchens and Ada Ellen Brown Hutchens.

Surviving are two cousins, Edgar Morris and wife Carolyn of Marshall, Ill. and Donald Hutchens and wife Juanita of Martinsville, Ill.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Dean Hutchens.

She was a member of the First Christian Church of Marshall and of the National Association Of Retired Federal Employees. She loved to paint and quilt. She enjoyed going out to eat with her many friends and loved the many trips she had taken on Turner Bus Tours.

Services in honor of her life will be 10 a.m. Monday at Pearce Funeral Home, 314 S. 6th St., Marshall, Ill., with Bro. John Cutshall officiating. Visitation will be 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Marshall Cemetery.
