Ethel S. Dayhoff, of Hanover, passed away February 19, 2011. She was the wife of Raymond S. Dayhoff, who died May 24, 2006.

Born December 4, 1924, in Hanover, she was the daughter of the late Curvin G. and Effie M. (Bixler) Sterner.

Mrs. Dayhoff was a member of God's Missionary Church, Hanover.

Surviving are two daughters, Susan M. Moul and husband, Larry of Spring Grove, and Ruby A. Hilker of York; one sister, Rita Heltibridle of Hanover; six grandchildren, Kirby Moul and wife, Rebecca of Florence, AL, Kelby Moul and wife, Diane of Hanover, Tiffany Gilbert and husband, Dave of York, and Ruth Hilker, Thomas Hilker, and Michael Hilker, all of Hanover: and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Geraldine Miller, and a brother, Burnell Sterner.

Interment: York Road Cemetery, Hanover.
