Funeral services will be held Friday, December 17, 2010, 10:30 AM at St. Paul Catholic Church for Gloria Arceneaux, 55, who passed away on December 9, 2010 at Regional Medical Center of Acadiana. She will be buried in Calvary Cemetery. Fr. Robert Seay will officiate the service.
Left to cherish her memories are her daughter Jerleesa M. Arceneaux; son Raphael K. Arceneaux; one grandson Skylin Isiah Arceneaux of Lafayette, sisters Barbara Tezeno of Lafayette , Yola (Wesley) Calais of Carencro, brothers Mitchell Arceneaux, of Carencro, Mabry (Edna) Arceneaux, of Lafayette, Clarence Arceneaux, Sr., of Lafayette, Milton Arceneaux (Bertha), of Carencro, Ricky (Dorothy) Arceneaux, Sr. Raymond (Linda) Arceneaux of Lafayette, sister in laws; Linda Arceneaux, of Carencro, and Gene Shelvin of Lafayette.
She was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Agnes Hamilton Arceneaux; brother, Junius Arceneaux, Charles Anthony Shelvin, and her sister Rose Mae Shelvin.
The family has requested that viewing be observed Thursday, December 16, 2010 from 4-9 PM and continue Friday, December 17, 2010 from 7-10 AM at Kinchen Funeral Home.
