Clarence Larry Evans of Loganville died July 16, 2003 in Snellville. He was 69.

A native and lifelong resident of Walton County, he was the son of the late Grover W. Evans and Cora Epps Evans. He was retired from Kuppenheimer Co. with 37 years of service, and he had served in the U. S. Navy. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held July 18, 2003 in the chapel of Arthur Bowick Funeral Home. The Rev. Chris Conner and the Rev. Michael Blount officiated. Interment was in Hill Haven Memory Gardens with military honors.

Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Irene Westmoreland Evans; one daughter and son-in-law, Joy Denise and Ronald McCullers of Loganville, one son; L. Derrick Evans of Loganville; one sister Martha Cason of Manassas, VA; a sister-in-law Dessie Evans of Opelika, AL; four grandchildren; Uriah McCullers, Shelli Scott, Courtney Evans and Jacob Derrick Sprose; one great grandchild; Kane Scott. He was predeceased by a sister Daisey Driskell and brothers: Felton Evans, Grover Warren Evans, Elroy Evans and Lawrence Evans.

Arthur Bowick, Inc., Funeral Directors were in charge of arrangements.
