Mrs. Martha E. Abbey, 89, of 169 Main Street, Randolph, died at 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 19, 1970 in Jamestown General Hospital where she had been taken by the Randolph ambulance earlier that same day.
She was born in Randolph August 23, 1880 to Harry and Ann Murphy McGinnity.
She lived in the Randolph area all her life.
She was a member of St. Patrick's Roman Catholic church.
Martha was preceded in death by spouse, Herma. Mr. Abbey who operated a grocery store on South Washington Street for many years. He died in 1941.
Surviving are four nieces, two nephews, and several great nieces and nephews.
Burial was in Randolph Cemetery.
