Married to Frank S. Cantrell on the 29th of August in 1892 in Brooklyn, NY, Grace Marshall and Frank lived in New York during the summer and wintered in Washington DC. Mary was the daughter of Robert W. Marshall and Margaaretta Springstead and enjoyed a comfortable life with her parents and her husband. Her father owned and operated an enameling company which was located on Cherry Street in Manhattan. The family enjoyed summers in Patchogue, NY and enjoyed time with family members at Rockland Lake. When she died an obit in the Huntington Long Islander dated March 8, 1929 simply states: Mrs. Frank S. Cantrell. Word was received here yesterday (Thursday) of the death of Mrs. Frank S. Cantrell, of Cold Spring Hill. With Mr. Cantrell she was passing the winter in Washington, DC. The body will be brought in Brooklyn tomorrow (Saturday) for interment in Greenwood Cemetery at 2 o'clock.
