MRS. BURKHART FUNERAL TO BE AT RACINE TODAY
Racine Mo., Jan. 19 -- Mrs. Mary Emiline Burkhart, 94 years old, died at 6 o’clock last night at the home of a nephew Albert Burkhart, one mile south of Redings Mill. She had resided with the nephew about 10 years and until a few months ago they were residents of Carl Junction.
Mrs. Burkhart was born in Kentucky and, until going to live with the nephew, was a resident of the Racine community for many years. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Surviving are a son, Alvin B. Burkhart of Racine; 20 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 o’clock Tuesday afternoon at the Burkhart Church of Christ, near Racine, by the Rev. Otis Johnson. Burial will be in the church cemetery under direction of the Roney funeral service of Carl Junction.
Pallbearers will be Bob Coats, Jack Baker, Wilfred Burkhart, Denver Burkhart, Harols Burkhart and Willard Scott.
The body will lie in state at the home of the nephew until the funeral hour.
