CARL JUNCTION, Mo. . Fern Broyles, 102 Cambridge St., died at 2:48 p.m. Friday, May 9, 1997, at St. John's Regional Medical Center, Joplin, after a sudden illness.
Mrs. Broyles was born at Imperial, Neb.
She was a licensed cosmetologist and a licensed real estate sales agent. She was a charter member and former manager of The (Senior Citizens) Center.
She was a member of the Carl Junction Christian Church.
She married James Broyles on Sept. 22, 1962. He survives.
Also surviving are two brothers, Vern Lyon, Shawnee Mission, Kan., and Vic Lyon, Weatherford, Texas; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son and a daughter.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the Carl Junction Christian Church. The Rev. Boyce Mouton will officiate.
Burial will be in Carl Junction Cemetery.
Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Simpson Funeral Home, Carl Junction.
