Phillip lived on the family farm south of Stratton until 1952 when the farm became part of Swanson Reservoir. The family then moved to their farm north of Stratton.
He spent most of his adult life at Southwest Area Training Center in McCook until 2007 when he moved to Heritage of Wauneta due to his health.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Herman and Eula Andrijeski; and brother-in-law, Raymond Vrbas.
Survivors are: sisters, Carolyn Vrbas of Ottawa, Kansas, Marlene Schmaderer and husband, Al of Manhattan, Kansas, and Sheryl Knopp and husband, Marvin of Scott City, Kansas; brothers, Arnold Andrijeski and wife, JoAnn of Tampa, Florida, and Bernard Andrijeski and Sandra of Stratton and a host of friends and relatives.
