He was one of five children born to Willis and Margaret (Fogerty) Brewster on May 8, 1925 in Plymouth, MA. He graduated from Plymouth High School in 1943.
Mr. Brewster was proud of his service in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1943-1946, having served in the 5th Division in World War II in the Pacific. His patriotism and support of those who served in the military was unwavering.
He attended Bentley College of Finance and Accounting in Boston and was employed for 24 years by United Fruit Company in Costa Rica and Boston, MA. Later in his career, he was self employed as a tax/financial consultant in Amherst, NH, his current home of 36 years.
Mr. Brewster enjoyed gardening, reading, travel, and most of all, family gatherings. He was known for his sense of humor, story-telling, and genuine interest in people-family, wonderful neighbors and friends. He was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church, Milford.
Family members include his wife of 59 years, Agnes (O'Neill) Brewster; two sons and daughters-in-law, Paul and Janna Brewster, Mark and Lorena Brewster; a daughter and son-in-law Kathy and James Butler; seven grandsons, Benjamin, Joshua, William, Matthew, Michael, Matthew and Daniel; a sister Margaret "Dolly" Ruozzi; many nieces, nephews and close friends.
