Arsenault, Gerald A., 76, passed away on Sunday April 22, 2007. Born April 28, 1930 in Mexico, Maine he lived the life of a devout Christian. He moved to Florida in 1963. He was in the US Navy and was a member of the Navy Veterans of the USA, American Legion, Florida Sheriff's Association, American Culinary Federation, and a lifetime member of the Central Florida Chef's Association. He retired in 1992 from the Orange County Convention Center. He was an executive chef for over 50 years. He was the Central Florida Chef of the Year. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Eva. He is survived by 2 sisters Jeannette Derouche, of Maine, and Georgette Beaucheasne, of Maine, his 5 children, Fredrick Arsenault (Orlando), Nancy Lawson (Orlando), Jerry Arsenault (New York), Donny Arsenault (Orlando), Melody Flachmeier (Orlando), 13 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren. The family will be receiving friends at the Dobbs Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, April 25, 2007 from 6 - 8 PM. The Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, April 26, 2007 at the Dobbs Chapel. Interment will be held at 12:30 PM on Thursday, the 26th at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Arsenault Family to help with burial expenses. 4501 Meadowbrook Ave. Orlando, FL 32808.
