On 23 Feb 1869 she married Robert Alexander Story in McLennan County, Texas. They lived their life together in Axtell, McLennan County, Texas. Jennie and her husband had six children; and sadly only her youngest, Frank Edward Story lived to his adulthood. Jennie is laid to rest in Axtell Cemetery with her husband and son.
