Relatives and friends here have received word of the death of Mrs Henry Roahrig at her home in Plymouth, Indiana. She formerly lived in Adams Township and is well known to many of the Register readers. She is survived by her husband and four sons. She was about 65 years years of age.

ANOTHER DEATH
Mrs Henry Roahrig of Plymouth died last Saturday 12 May and the funeral was held at the Methodist Church in Plymouth, Tuesday afternoon 15 May. Following is the obituary of the deceased. Old age is an epoch which if rightly lived is one of supreme joy and happiness; beginning in infancy it travels the realms of history into an ending of tranquility and bliss. Such was the experience of the subject of this brief memorial, Mary Elizabeth Wesner was born to George and Mary Wesner in Muskingum County, Ohio 28 March, 1850. When she was two years of age her parents emigrated to Jasper County, Indiana, leaving her with her grandparents Mr and Mrs Valentine Sandel. These grandparents were very devoted Christians and also being very much devoted to this grandchild persuaded the parents to leave her with them, with whom she lived until 20 August 1877 when she united in marriage to Henry Roahrig. To this union were born seven children namely Jennie Elnora who preceded her mother 31 January 1881, Alonzo Weber, Pastor of the M E Church, Willow Branch, Indiana, Arthur Oliver deceased 9 February 1885, Urben Guy near Bourbon, Indiana, Virgil Hale deceased 13 August 1889, Verner Clyde, Inwood, Indiana and Earnest Everette near Inwood, Indiana. Being raised in a Christian home she early in life gave her heart to Jesus and was confirmed in the Lutheran Church when but 12 years of age and has ever since loved and served the Lord. Un the year 1906 the family came to Inwood, Indiana and settled on the farm where the youngest son resides. After coming to Indiana she with her husband became members of the Inwood Methodist Church at Inwood where they remained until moving to Plymouth when they transferred their membership to the Methodist Church where she remained a consistent member and worker until the time of her coronation 12 Mat 1923 aged 64 years 1 month and 14 days. Her life was in accord with "Dorcas" who was a friend to all in need. She leaves to mourn their loss 4 sons, 2 sisters. 6 brothers, 10 grandchildren, a number of other relatives and a multitude of friends. Her faith in God has been exemplified in the words of Charles Wesley when he wrote.
"For me and all mankind,
The lamb of God was slain,
My Lord His life resigned
For every soul of man;
Loving all, He more passed by,
He would not have one sinner die.
