Jesse Slaton started Slaton Blocks in Kansas City on Prospect Ave. Many buildings had used products from Slaton Blocks, most notable is Arrowhead Stadium.

Jesse L. Slaton, 66, died in Kansas City Wednesday, November 19, following a major operation two weeks prior to his death.

He was born at Enon, the son of Judge and Missouri Slaton. His father was postmaster at Enon for 20 years.

He is survived by his wife, Ella Slaton, five daughters and three sons. Mrs. Malcom Hickcox here is a sister.

Mr. and Mrs. Malcom and daughters, Mary and Mrs. Joe Stokes of Jefferson City attended the funeral at Kansas City Friday. Burial was there.
